Bind To Media server or rtp Whats better

am i better off to not use bind to media server and just make a direct rtp connection fo all my extentions and my pstn gateway?

what im thinking is that going direct rtp there would be less resources being used up on my 3cx server.

am i correct?

you are correct but the decision of binding them to the mediaserver depends on more than just the utilisation of the 3cx server.

for exam. your server is dedicated to 3cx then you can forget thinking about utilisation because if he is on let him do some work ;-)

or if you have problems with direct connection there is not place for decisions then you can only bind them to the mediaserver (if you can
