Hey there, I have an analog handset that's connected to 3CX via a Grandstream HT814 FXS Gateway. I have figured out how to do an Attended transfer from this phone. I press flash, then dial the extension. I have to wait until the call is connected to the extension before I can hang up. The problem is that I'm sending callers directly to voicemail, and by the time I can complete the transfer and hang up to connect the incoming caller, the voicemail greeting is mostly over. Is there a way to do a blind transfer from the analog handset so the incoming caller will be connected at the start of the transfer and can thus hear the entire greeting? Thanks

Most ATA's should have a list of star codes, in the manual, and many allow you to change those, if you wish. In most Grandsteam devices, I believe it is *87 for blind transfers. So... you'd do a flash, get dialtone, dial *87, then the extension you wish to transfer to, wait for the call to complete (or dial #, in some cases), then hang up.
