Block calls between groups

Is it possible to block calls between groups and hide the extensions from users not in the same group?

We have different departments and users get confused.

Not sure you'd be able to do a block by group, youd have to create exceptions per extension to block calls in a range. Though, could be difficult without the management console (v20) as this is done via the extensions login. You can uncheck "publish... to all members" in the group settings to hide.
