So I've been trying to work through getting the forward to mobile to work.

We have an inboud rule setup to forward all calls to a specific number.
Anytime we call that number the forwarded call just shows up as ou r main number on the other end. Rather than the actual number thats been called.

We've followed this guide https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk/bt-uk/ but still the main number shows.

We've also checked in here: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/bt-hsipt-forward-to-mobile-clip.120127/

We have asked BT to enable call number presentation, which they've come back with and said it now active.
But the same issue still happens, doesn't look like anything has changed.

Anyone got any tips pon trying to resolve this?

Would my outbound caller rules have an affect on this?

Are you sending these calls to an extension, then having the extension forward the call? In the past, even calls to an extension with forwarding, will send the number differently depending on the type of forwarding used. The correct CID outbound trunk parameter also need to be correct for you provider.

Have a read though this, it may give you some ideas about what to try.

I managed to get it resolved.

We've an inboud rule for the number that gets called, to forward it on to a mobile number.

I had an outbound rule and in the outbound rule I had set an Outbound Caller ID in the route.
Once I removed that Outbound Caller ID, it worked as expected.

Yes, an outbound caller ID set in the trunk used, will override.
