Call Center module DNC big list slowdown campaign load

Hi there,
we have added recently a big (500k) DNC list, on our call center module and now trying to load a new campaign takes for ever..
We are talking about hours of processing to get it done..
Anyone has the same problem? if there is a design issue, is there a way to add some indexes on the database?
I took a look at the PHP code and it seems the DNC table gets searched on every data loaded...

Any one?? this is a real problem. Please Call Center developers...

I was thinking of changing the way it filters the DNc list. instead of checking at the load, check during run time.
It takes 0.12sec to query (in my case) so its not going to slow don't thing anytime sooner..

Have you considered managing your lists prior to load and not using the DNC function to do a 500K list washing at campaign load. If you never allowed a DNC number to be added to your campaign in the first place you could manage a smaller dnc list on the server that is more of a real time list.
