Hi there,

We have a group of people that come in an work a call queue, when no one is logged into the queue we want the calls to go to a ring group. So I set the Destination no answer of the call queue to the ring group. Works fine.. EXCEPT.... the MOH that comes on. So if I am a caller and I call the queue when someone is logged in.. I get a nice custom MOH message that describes whats going on.... when everyone is logged out it automatically answers before the first ring and just plays the system MOH while the ring group rings... makes it very confusing to callers as what just happened.

I've been looking around and I can't quite seem to find the MOH for this. Thoughts? Better way to handle these calls?

Hi @jeremywatco,

If the queue is routing to a RG, you might want to rather route it to an IVR that plays a prompt then forwards to the RG automatically. There won't be a way not to play the system MOH for the RG. Creating an IVR that after 1 second routes to the RG with a prompt saying "There is no one available in the [something department], we're routing you to [wherever]" might make it make more sense for users.
