I'm unsure of what the Queue Recording setting does.
What I think they do;
Assuming the agent's extension is set to record all external calls.
The "Allow caller to opt-out of being recorded" would allow the caller to press 3 and this would turn off call recording.
"Ask caller to be recorded (opt-in)", would do nothing because the extension is already set to record the call.
Assuming the agent's extension has call recording disabled.
The "Allow caller to opt-out of being recorded" would do nothing because recording is already disabled in the extension.
"Ask caller to be recorded (opt-in)", not so sure about this, maybe allow the caller to press 3 and turn on call recording, even though it's off in the extension?
Originally I thought the Queue Recording settings were basically independent from the extension call recording settings, so Queue calls could be recorded all the time unless the caller opted out, regardless of what the extension settings were. But everything I found contradicted this idea.
