Hi;
I have some configuration issue regarding to the call routing. My customer uses (for different reasons) two independent elastix systems in the same network. Both elastix servers have SIP trunks to VoIP providers and local extensions can make outbound calls to PSTN.
The servers are located in the same LAN and they are connected using SIP trunk.
They can reach each other and provide internal calls.
The issue is - how to configure correctly the call routing between servers when they shares the same numbers for the extensions.
The same pools means 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, 6xx. Pools are the same but each server use unique numbers from pool. e.g If extension 345 exist on the server no 1 there is no the same extension on the server no 2.
I want to configure routing like this:
if extension exist on the server call extension directly - if not send call to the peer via sip trunk
Is the simple way to build routing definition for whole pools 3xx,4xx, 5xx etc. to get the it working like this:
- When the server recognize extensions (registered on the server) it will send the call to this extension
- if the extension does not exist on the server, the server will send the traffic to the peer, via sip trunk.
Can I use simple routing definition using patterns e.g 3XX, 4XX etc to route calls or I need to define each number which does not belong to the server as a routing pattern?
