Caller ID COnfiguration

I am trying to set up the caller ID so that Agents are able to see the name of the sip the calling is coming from and the cx number, however, at the moment it is only showing the username for the SIp and the CX number. How can I have it showing a Name instead of a number for the SIP?

The inbound parameters are below

"CallerNum" caller's number (default: From->user)

"CallerName" caller's name (default: From->display name)

"CalledNum" number that has been dialed (default: To->user)

I would not recommend editing the Inbound Parameters of the SIP Trunk, instead you could just navigate to Inbound Rules, and either create DID or CID rules according to your preferences, give them each a unique name, and then enable "Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID" under "Advanced >> Contacts >> Options" by setting it to either "Prepend" or "Append" the names to the Caller ID. This will have the name of the CID or DID Rule added to the Caller's Caller ID and will be visible to the agent.

Thank you for your response. I did try doing that but it is only appending the Queue name and we have multiple SIPs in one queue that we group together. It would show the Queue name, SIP ID, and Customer Number. Because we are using multiple Sips we do not wish to create individual Queues for each SIP

If it is not adding the CID or DID Inbound Rule name it most likely means it is not matching it and is matching the routing on the SIP Trunk level instead. If you are using DID Inbound Rules, try editing the the DID on the SIP Trunk level as to make it more flexible. For instance, if your DID is +123456789 where +12 is the country code, try replacing it with *3456789 so that anything ending in 3456789 is matched by this rule. Do remember that you must use at least 6 digits plus the asterisk symbol *.
