Caller Id pass through when extension has "Also Ring my Mobile" checked

I setup my extension # to " "Also Ring my Mobile" in the call forwarding section, however when my mobile phone rings it shows as if my office was calling me instead of the external party calling me.
I am using Version 20.0 , does any one know how can I change the caller id to display the originating caller ID ?

So if your provider allows it, then you can see the outbound parameter of the Phonesystem.

Just a note here for everyone.

Caller ID passthrough can be sent by 3CX. The SIP field entry for sending the Original Caller's ID is "OriginatorCallerId"

However, it is solely and entirely up to the provider to accept this.

Many providers do not allow you to send a caller ID that is not assigned to your account to prevent spoofing, and/or fraud attempts.

What may happen if a "foreign" caller ID is sent to a provider that does not allow CLIP No screening:

1. Reject the call outright
2. Send the call out with "Anonymous" as the Caller ID
3. Send the call out with a random Caller ID from their pool (This may even be a number from a different country)
4. Send out your main account number (usually your main trunk number) as the Caller ID.

Generally, if you have any caller ID issues, please contact your SIP Provider.
