I have requirement where I am trying to set outbound caller ID for extension.
My extension is configured with 3 digit caller id, 7digit caller ID and 10 digit caller ID. Some extensions does not have any caller ID.
Now I want Configuring Caller ID Reformatting for out bound.
If calls come from 3 digit caller ID it should prepend the rest of the number and go
Like Source Pattern (...) and Replace Pattern +918045466\1 It is working. ()
For 7 digit caller ID and 10 Digit Caller ID call should go with a static no.
If I create Source Pattern (.......*) Replace Pattern +918045466100 this is not working.
For no caller ID I wan to send the call through the same default caller ID.

Please help me to configure this. All call taking the rule 1 that is Source Pattern (...) and Replace Pattern. +918045466\1

You can create 3 Caller ID Reformatting rules.

Put the 10 digits first, 7 digits second and 3 digits last

(...)

This shown above will be your source pattern, and you will put the respective Replace pattern for each of the rules.

Also note that now, you can also use the outbound rule routes for manipulation of the Outbound Caller ID as well.

Outbound caller ID also requires OriginatorCallerID to be used in the SIP Trunk Outbound Parameters as well, as per our guide.

Hi @DavidM84,

You would need to ask your SIP Trunk provider which SIP Field they take the Caller ID from and adjust that parameter accordingly. This varies from provider to provider.
