We're using 3cx v20 upgraded to the latest stable version with a twilio trunk where we also subscribe to cnam database lookup however the incoming callers id "name" is not displayed only the phone number. Is there something in the trunk settings that need to be changed to get this functionality to work? I checked the activity log on a verbose setting and it does show the name of the business like so:

From: "COMPANY NAME" <sip:[email protected]>;tag=dfgf87

Appreciate any insights, thanks!

Having the same issue

I keeping getting this error when trying to import the XML file.
because ParameterIn FromUserPart exists twice
I did, and it said no errors were found.
valid xml syntax, wrong xml content, your validator probably doesn't see that as incorrect

With 3CX v20u8 comes Twilio (Auto-setup) Template in version 150005 - use this for customization.

Is there a way to change templates on a SIP trunk then? I had used the generic template, now I'd like to make changes based on this - https://www.3cx.com/docs/voip-provider-checker/, but it seems like the only way is to delete the old trunk and recreate with the edited template. I've got over 300 DIDs and I don't want to have to go through mapping them all out again.

yes, it's possible via the xapi (but to change the used template itself is not recommended even if it works)

Better: export all DID, their destinations and names (Admin / Reports / Inbound Rules), format it in a proper CSV (only this three columns without the header and in the right order) and import it later with the new trunk.

If you only want to change some used template parameters (outbound params), see here (and the post above):

Don't forget to restart the 3CX services or the whole 3CX afterwards.

Ah Ok. I didn't catch the change to the DID import format back in U5, so I wasn't aware you could include the extension in the DID import list. It looks like they keep their outbound callerid map as well. That does help. Thanks.
