Using Twilio as an Elastic SIP trunk
I have a DVR set up in 3cx, with an option to choose an extension.
That extension is set to foward to an external number, also a sip line
I have no caller id set on the extension, nor on the outbound rule
I am trying to get 3cx to pass the original caller id to the receiving external sip line, but it keeps rejecting it
I have tried every possible combination of callerid control on the trunk, including custom caller ids in all three options for editable segments
I have then tried capturing the packets and analyzing on wireshark and can see the sip headers
even when I have set custom fields in the header segments, I am seeing the user part: 10001@ which I assume is the 3cx call handler?
How can i get the user part to be a valid callerid so the call can be forwarded correctly, but using the callerid of the original caller?
