Calling out from 3CX sounds like an international Dial out (US Based)

Just wondering if there was a way to change the sound or the ringing that occurs when you dial out from 3CX. Our users are a bit confused as it sounds like to them that they're calling "Internationally" and not the standard ring you'd get from your cellphone or landline when calling someone even 100 feet from you. Is there a way to adjust this?

You would have to detirmine if the ringback is coming from your provider, 3CX, or the set itself. With 3CX and the set, you should be able to set the tones to match those normally used in your location. If it comes from your provider, then you'd have to ask them about options.

How can I determine that?

What type of sets are you using? All the same? What toneset are they using? What toneset/region is 3CX set to use?

To be honest I havent set any of those myself and left everything default. If it helps we use Flowroute as our SIP Trunk provider. As far as the set up went I made 0 custom adjustments.

When you call internally, is the ringback tone the same as external calls? Is the ringback you get the UK type, double ring?

As far as I know the ringback tone is generated by your phone.
I think you must change it there.
(e.g. Yealink - Settings > Tones > Ring Back)

So after testing a few times it seems that the application for the mobile phone has that UK style of ring when calling someone. Is there something from the app I can adjust or is that how the software handles it by default?

You hadn't previously mentioned that you are calling from the 3CX App. As far back as i can remember, it has given a UK style ringback tone.

Yeah my apologies I did more testing and it seems that the 3CX app only uses that ringback tone. I appreciate the help though!
