Hi,
Our two busiest offices are occasionally getting calls stuck, and then their extensions do not ring when other inbound calls come in. We are using parking orbits, and this always occurs during the busiest time of the day/week, when multiple calls get put into the orbit for each respective office. Each office has it's own orbit, for example, Office 1 has orbit *01, and Office 2 is using orbit *02.
I previously had the feature "Automatically un-park forgotten calls" enabled, which I just disabled, since it was set to transfer back to the extension that parked the call. However, I've also read in a post somewhere that the feature doesn't necessarily apply to orbits.
In any case, we keep getting a call or two stuck, and then when the call queue rings, those extensions that are stuck do not ring.
So far, we have not had to restart the server, and have cleared the stuck calls using the X in Active Calls.
I need to find out why these calls are getting stuck.
Thanks for any assistance,
CC
