Hey Everyone,

I've got a weird issue on the new 3cx mobile app, since the new v5 upgrade.
When answering a call u get a timer in the top left of your mobile phone to indicate the call is active and how long it has been running.
Normally when you close a call, this dissapears, but after the v5 upgrade this doenst happen.
When I close the call, the call doesnt show anymore in the app itself, but the timer keeps running in the top left of the screen.

When i then press on the timer, it opens the 3cx app, but there is no active call.
The only way to actually make sure the timer goes away is deinstalling the app and then installing again.
Also we checked in the pbx itself wether there was an active call in use, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Is this a known issue or are there any fixes regarding this issue?

Thanks for your feedback.
This is an known issue in the Android OS. Other apps are experiencing this same issue.

To remove the time, once can make a call and quickly disconnect. I believe also rebooting the device should fix the issue

Hi all,
Android 12 (Samsung S21 FE)
3CX app 18.1.3.128
I have the same problem with call timer remaining active.

I found that if I call my own extension, wait for voice mail (or busy signal) and then hang up. The call timer will go away. I do not need to reboot or uninstall/reinstall the app.
Give me a like if this works for you.
Thank you,

We have released V18.1.3.129 Beta of the Android client today which should fix this issue:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/change-log/3cxphone-android-build-history/

You'd have to join the BETA program to get this update.
Just launch the Play Store, search for 3CX, and while in the Apps information page (where you see Uninstall & Open) scroll down to where it reads "Join the Beta" and press "Join".

It may take a few minutes but once complete you will see the Update button available for you to install the latest Beta app.

At any time, you may leave the Beta program by following the same steps to where the app information page reads 'You're a beta tester' and tap on 'Leave'

Should you still reproduce the issue, please let us know, together with your phone brand, model and Android version

@Mhanen @jakthree are you still reproducing the issue on the Beta build 18.1.3.129 mentioned above?

I am running 18.1.3.130. I have not seen the problem.
Sorry for the delayed response.
