Strange.
when using a modern desktop browser the chat window opens, I can enter name and email, and finally initiate a call.
When using a mobile browser (iphone safari, Firefox, Chrome) only a very very small button appears on the lower right. I can enlarge the button, but thats it.

What can be done to fix this problem?

Is the mobile browser opening the webpage as a mobile webpage or have you set it to open as a desktop website?

Of course all browsers are set to mobile. Iphone and Android.

Is your live chat using the Word Press plugin or have you added it via HTML?

Did you use the generator provided to get your HTML?

https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/live-chat/

Is "enable on mobile" turned on?

I did this, yes. Same result.

I tried a few more things:
another PBX (administered by me):
no change
using a desktop browser + userAgentSwitcher:
Any mobile browser will give the same unwanted result.
Screenshot attached.

I have found with the iPhone, nothing on the live chat and talk works except the call button. Once connected, there is no audio and the call fails. All other devices, including a fire tablet I tested with work fine. Chrome, Firefox, and the beta edge browser. I am not sure of an android phone as I do not have one to test. We have disabled it for mobile devices in Wordpress for the time being under the shortcode/advanced/Responsive setting.

Not working with the iPhone is a major issue and hopefully is corrected soon.

Live chat & talk, when it works correctly, is a great plugin. We are starting to use it for support calls and so far so good. Thanks to 3CX for the development.

mhmmmm,
Maybe the plugin is not widely used, and in contrast to the 3cx marketing sprech it is not really ready for primetime?
For me on mobile devices, as you can see in the screenshot the dialog where someone would enter his information is missing, the click to call button is present (very very small in the lower right), but worse then in your case, hitting the button will not initiate a call. I also tried to remove the need to enter a name or email adress, but that did not change the behaviour I experience.
I currently suspect the problem is because of upgrading older pbx where this functionality was not present. When setting up a completely new instance of the pbx it might work. If nobody else has an idea how to resolve this problem I will go this path next.

Mobile view on Click2Talk direct link has a bug that was detected and will be fixed in the upcoming release of Update 5.
The following problem does not occur on WordPress or on standalone script generation.

Ok then my second guess was right - softwar is not ready for general use.
Thank you - I wait.

I will wait too, but is there any ETA for Update 5?

The plan is to be released now beginning of February.

I did not say which year beginning of February :)

Stay tuned and soon we will announce update 5.

Can't wait! I'm sure you're waiting on like Apple or Google and the U5 has actually been ready for a while now
