I'm excited about all of the 3CX features.

What I'm looking to do is simple and I can't seem to find a basic answer. Hope someone here can help.

I want to have one phone number that people call, then they get a simple one level tree of options - press 1,2, or 3. When you press 1, 2, or 3, you are simply forwarded to a new phone number. This way I can use our personal cell phones to receive calls.

Will that work with the 3CX system?

Thanks,
Christopher

Yes,
It's a simple Digital Receptionist. You would set up three extensions and have each of them forward to your mobile numbers. At least I think that would be the simplest way :D

Thanks for the fast post!

That sounds exactly what I'm looking for. I was hoping to do all that on one PC and sending it out from there. I'll give that a try.

you can check here how to config digital receptionist and forwarding rules

Hi Christopher
It will also work if you set up extensions that are not connected to real phones, but which have mobile numbers configured against the extension. Select the "Ring my extension and my mobile etc. ..." box at the bottom of the extension's 'Forwarding' page, and then select 'PBX Delivers audio' on the extension's 'Other' page.

As said above - agreed - use an auto-attendant script to guide the calls to the right extensions / mobiles.

Note that this config' will take two lines on your 3CX, as it needs to trombone the call back out to PSTN [at your cost].

best regards
