Cannot connect master\slave bridge

Set up a master and slave bridge according to the documents provided by 3CX - https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/connecting-pbx-bridges/
Both the master and slave use the same extension and the same password - confirmed that they are identical
It has been recreated several times with each of the instances as the master and swapping the the roles with the same results

Both systems are Debian and V20 U2

The bridge does not provision due to the error that keeps repeating -
"Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings"
There is no entry field or test box that the auth ID can be set or recorded for a Bridge in the console

Is there a step or permission that is being missed that would cause the credentials to fail?

Check if the IP of the SLAVE PBX is on the blacklist of the Master PBX.

I have gone back thru the settings and neither of the instances is on the blacklist for the other. It seems as though it has to do with the authID of the extension, but does not provide a way to enter, view, or change it.

authID = Virtual Extension NUmber
If it still doesn't work, perform a Wireshark capture on the Master PBX and verify if you are receiving the REGISTER.

Just to clarify - both of the PBX have registered and accessible FQDN which were used in the tunnel portion of the bridge set up.

The slave system is sending the failing register requests and they are being received with the virtual extension on the master system which states that the authID and the password are incorrect.
I re-entered them just to confirm - they are identical on both sides of the bridge, virtual extension and password.

Check your tunnel configuration. Try without enabling the tunnel on both PBXs.
but, if not work, Send me your Wireshark capture taken from your master server in private.

Both the master and slave have had the tunnel disabled.
I am still receiving the same error but on a different port - 5060.
I will get the wireshark capture completed and sent over as soon as I can.

Hi,
it's not the same issue. Our bridges are still connected and even statuses are synchronised.
in fact a Wireshark capture will help here.
