Solved Cannot delete extension in V20

Hello all,

I am struggling to delete a specific extension. I have no idea what's so special about it, but when I select it and click delete, nothing happens. I am not even getting an entry in the audit log. I can delete other extensions, just not this one.
IIRC it was the first extension that was set up. I have already created a different system owner extension and degraded the one I want to delete to "User". Updating the extension creates the corresponding entries in the audit log, but I'm getting nothing on delete.
Anyone got an idea what this might be and how I can get rid of that extension?

Nevermind, found the issue. The extension was still set as operator, I just didn't find the setting.

For those also finding this post and still scratching their heads...

On v20 you must go to:

System -> Voicemail

and change the operator extension from the user you are trying to delete to another user.
