I started using 3CX a short while back, with voip.ms as the SIP trunk. Everything was working fine but I disliked the inability to use 3CX for SMS, so I switched to Flowroute and ported my DID's over. The port completed yesterday and my phone was working fine, inbound and outbound. However this morning, I noticed I could only get inbound calls, and if I dialed out, my Yealink phone would give a busy tone and in the lower left, a red X saying "not found". I noticed in my email, I received several emails from voip.ms citing it had blocked my calls due to a callerID issues(see attached). I wasn't sure what to do so I went into 3CX and saw I still had voip.ms in the SIP list, so I removed it. However, I'm still getting the same issue with outbound calls except now, I don't get the email from voip.ms.

I have restarted the phone multiple times and I even power cycled the SBC. Odd that I can't log into the SBC at its report IP Address though.

Anyhow, what do I need to do?

I would guess... that you are either sending calls to an incorrect address, the number format you are sending is incorrect (outbound rule?), or you are sending an incorrect caller ID.

You might consider removing all trunks, and starting over, in the event you put in something incorrect.

Can you please check and ensure that you have an outbound rule configured for this trunk?

I do not have an outbound rule configured. I don't recall seeing that in the instructions.

Please create an outbound rule. Since you deleted and re-created the trunk, you will need to recreate this manually.

Hey, I did that and it still wasn't working so I deleted and reinstalled the SIP trunk, then created the outbound rule but still wasn't working.

It's odd, before it would just go to a busy signal, but now it will ring for a split second, then the busy signal and "not found" error.

HERE WE GO!!!! Alright, someone I'm sure can work with this.route.png

What error do you see in the event log for the outbound calls?

I'm not getting any errors in the event log. Last entry was an hour ago when I re-provisioned my phone.

Make an outbound call, please and when it fails, enter the event log as shown below and check on the right side of the page the related errro is.

That's where I was looking. But, as per your instruction, I made a call, then refreshed the event log. Here is the output.event.png

Last entry over an hour ago. And as a matter of fact, looking through the whole log, the only entries coded as "Warning" were regarding my 10DLC registrations and SMS issues associated. I'm not thrilled with Flowroute regarding this, as it has caused a good bit of outbound SMS downtime. Luckily, inbound calling and SMS is working, so I'm not totally shut out.

******Update***** I have discovered I am only unable to make outbound calls in the format of xxx-xxx-xxxx. It seems if I dial a 1 first, it will go through.

Wow. All this time, all I had to do was create an outbound rule BUT, place a "1" in the prepend box. lol. thank you for the help and time mate.

You will need to check with flowroute to see why they are not processing the call without the national digit.
