Hi,

I just installed lastest 3CX 15.5 Debian . I found that i cannot access the management console using https , only http is working.

I did a netstat -tln and port 443 which was set for https is not inside. Anyone here knows how to resolve it?

Hi Steven,

It depends where you are locating the management console from. You must consider:

Http: is for local access from inside the local LAN (normally port 5000).
Https: is for access from the outside world. (normally port 5001).

Now you can use ports 443 and 80 if you desire, but I would not recommend it purely because the risk of port clashing is higher with these more commonly used ports.

Are you using split DNS or private IP also within your local LAN?

You mean you cannot reach the management console using https or you get a certificate error?
Also are using an IP of FQDN to access the management console?
