Cannot Upgrade the GXP2160

[MPH2020]

After a recent upgrade of my 3cx system (New version) the phones started ring it own from it ext number .

In the phone list i can see the phones red color , screen shot as shown below


Why i tired to upgrade the firmware , it is still the same not upgraded .

Can anyone help me out to fix this issue .

Since you are using a very very very old firmware on the GXP, you need to upgrade manually (via the web UI) to 1.0.7.x, then to 1.0.8.x and then you'll be able to upgrade to 1.0.9.x for 3CX.

Since it's a very old version, you might not have the option.

You'll need to download the firmwares and then use a TFTP/HTTP server and point the phone to that server for it to download the upgrade.

On 1.0.8.x you will have a "Start" button on the Upgrade page.

Before i register the phone in 3cx system i should have upgrade to latest ver .

First of all i need to reset the phone to factory settings then login to the phone and use HTTP or TFTP method .

Can you please send the link how to configure http or TFTP method

Scroll to "High-End IP Phones" and see the firmware upgrade notes in red. It's all explained and the 3CX doc will show you where to put the HTTP path (one is available on Grandstream servers).
