First, I created an FXS/DECT with the device's MAC, it's local lan, interface IP is correct, set an extension.

I've factory reset this HT802, put in the 'Config Server Path' as
<lan ip>/provisioning/<replaced> and set it to http. Hit update, the apply. Reboot.

The device simply doesn't pull the config.

Where can I find the provisioning log file? See if there is some error being generate?

I'm on 15.5U6 which just added support for this device.

Any Ideas

It's not the same issue, I'm not using the as a PSTN gateway so I'm not generating such a config.

I paste in the provisioning path given in 3CX, hit apply. That saves to the device. I reboot and it's still there. So this isn't a web browser issue, that setting applies, but the device doesn't seem to successfully grab the config.

I've taken that config path and pasted it into the browser and I get the config file for the device.

I've factory reset the device against, then taken that downloaded config file and manually uploaded it to the device and it then takes the config. It puts the config path in as you'd expect so it all seems well.

But, it still wont grab updates to the config, so it's clearly not doing something right or the 3CX service is throwing some error when the HT802 hits the provisioning URL.

I can't find an error log for provisioning on the system so I an blind to whatever the phone system is doing.

Hi dandenson,
Provisioning of the HT8xx gateways worked for me smoothly.
What firmware version are you have on your gateway? Please remember that 3cx supports the 1.0.9.3 and higher versions.
You can use this guide to provision your HT gateways:
https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/grandstream-ht-fxs/

Consider this one solved. Details for posterity:

I discovered that the grandstream and all other devices were unable to talk to the hosted 3CX on port 80. This site has a VPN so everything is configured as local. Hosted on googles cloud and the default firewall blocks port 80 even on the 'LAN'.

Opened up this port for my private networks and now it provisions properly.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution.
