As of today, since the webmeeting upgrades, we have problems when trying to create meetings. We just get "web router failed" on some computers. My own PC which is internal works with both Windows client and web client. Our internal terminal server doesn't work at all. My Linux desktop which has been my favoured computer to demo 3CX webmeeting fails. I tried from my home and my Windows PC does not work from there. It seems most computers don't work, but I can't seem to find a logical thread as to what is common across those that do and those that don't. Up until today everything has always worked perfectly.

Something in the new servers seems to have changed. I would say that the problem is in the message below which is coming from the server.

Just a little follow up. I have two computers in my office that have differing outcomes with the exact same URL. They are both Windows (one is Windows 2016 terminal server the other Windows 10). They both use Chrome version Version 68.0.3440.84 (Official Build) (64-bit), with no extensions. Both on the same LAN.

On the terminal server, the user Mark Dutton works, but the user Mark Dutton home ( a different extension number) doesn't. On my PC both work. Firewall is disabled on both.

External Watchguard firewall policies are all bypassed temporarily.

Home PC is behind a standard Mikrotik router with no special rules and that doesn't work either.

I can't think of any other variables to try.

We're looking into this. Please be patient for a short while until we identify any possible issues.

Hi 3CX team,

Not opening a support ticket here since I saw this forum entry so I rather use this thread to keep it simple.

I just had a rather annoyed call from a customer. They scheduled a web meeting for this morning but none of them (internal and external people) could get in from what they told me.
All of them got the message "web router failed". Seems to be identical to what datamerge reported.

Best Regards,
Michael

For anyone experiencing this issue we'd urge these users to clear their browser cache and try again.

Hi Leonidas

For some reason I am not getting email notifications on this thread, but I thought I would drop back in and have a look. We found exactly this. We had to delete the cache and cookies.

We have noticed that you cant create meetings via the 3CX Softphone Windows Client, an error message reports WEBMEETING_PARAMETER is EMPTY.

Restart your 3CX System Service and try again.
