Change of Auto-provisioning Time for Fanvil X5U Phones

Hello All,

Our company director has requested if we can schedule the phones to autoprovision after-hours. Is there a way to change this, or would we need to write a custom provisioning template?

We have an Enterprise 32SC V16 license with about 30 handsets, all of which are the X5U phones.

Hi Christopher,

Those phones provision on a time interval (not a scheduled time as such). The interval is every 24 hours.

So If for example you want them to provision at say 07:00 AM every day, then make sure you reboot all of them at that time tomorrow. In theory, they should request their next reprovisioning the following day again at 07:00 AM.

Glad to help! Give it a go and let us know how it went.

You might have to "reboot sync" them every now and again in case some lose power at a different time of day, but I expect overall that any complaints from users will largely go away.
