Change Tel: or Sip: or CallTo: from Teams to Chrome Extension

Hi!

From our database (FileMaker) on MacOS I like to use the Tel: command in a web viewer to launch the 3CX Chrome web telephone. Per default Teams responded to the Tel: or Sip: or CallTo: commands and I changed it through 'Default Apps' to Chrome. Now the Chrome browser pops up after the Tel: command, but not the 3CX web phone. How can I accomplish this? Thanks in advance!

You can't for now. The "tel:" scheme is not supported on Webapps. You would need the Windows Client (since the MacOS one is discontinued).

Maybe try to have the phone numbers open as a link? ".../webclient?dial=[Number]"

Thank you for your reply. The open as a link option unfortunately doesn't work as desired. The user gets a login prompt presented first, and then has to hit the Enter key to actually dial the phone number. Not as convenient as I hoped. The Windows client will probably work, but I specifically need to address this solution on a Mac.
