Change User Status through API

Hi,

We have a self-developed inhouse app for our admin team and I would like to be able to display and toggle the “3CX User” status inside our program.I don't want to make use of a 3rd party API just for this single function. If there an API I can use just to “Get” and “Set” the user status from within my own app?

Is there any other free way of settings and getting just the user status that I don't know about? I saw some posts talking about ClickToCall, but that seems to have been discontinued, and another post mentioned using the "https://mydomain.3cx.co.za/xapi/v1/Users" endpoint to set and get the status. I don't mind using a command line tool or another type of tool to get the job done, I just don't want to pay another big license fee on-top of the 3CX licensing fee just for such a simple function.
