Hi,

We have an On-Prem (ver 18) and it is pointing at an internal DNS Server 10.x.x.x however that linkto the DNS server has broken so I need to change that IP address.

I can see on the console under Settings > Network where the IP address, Public and FQDN are listed and they are okay and do not need to change but I cannot find anywhere to change the DNS servers.

Please help.

Thanks

Hello, im assuming its debian OS?

Code:
nano /etc/resolv.conf

Nameserver 8.8.8.8
Nameserver 8.8.4.4

CTRL X

Do you have any idea in Windows 10, where in Network Adapter, the DNS are set in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 accordingly but it still says "Unable to resolve activate.3cx.com"

Go to Start > Run

Type ncpa.cpl press OK

Right click your network adapter and go to Properties

Scroll down to where it says TCP/IP v4 and go to properties

In the DNS field you can either leave as automatic or specify.
