Solved chat feature not working in my startup

I followed the steps to implement the chat feature for a startup pbx.
I embedded the 2 lines of code in my webpage ( non-wordpress ).
But when I hover the mouse over the icon - I get a "prohibited" icon - the red circle with a diagonal line through it.
I double checked all the settings in the admin/voice&chat section of the pbx, and they seem correct.
I tried this is 3 different browsers, same result in each. I checked that popups were allowed, and they are.

What am I doing wrong?

Any direction appreciated.

Check the URL you set in the LiveChat in 3CX is the actual URL of your website.

No path, right protocol, full address.

Ex.: https://www.mysite.com

Not: http://mysite.com/my-page

Note: Do not use the trailing slash /
The example above is how it has to be.

Thank you for the suggestions.
I rechecked the URL - it is exactly as you suggested = https://www.khoe.org
no trailing slash. But the result is the same - hovering over it with mouse i get the
"prohibited" icon ( red circle with diagonal slash through )

I found the solution...probably my own ignorance..
I had been testing the feature in a local directory on my computer, not on the actual site.
It works perfectly online, but not at all locally...

Thank you for your help! Sometimes it takes an interaction to hold up the mirror!

Locally might not be able to access https but in any case good to know this is resolved
