Solved Chat open new window

Hi everyone.
Why chat doesnt respect "popout="false" configuration? I see many responses saying its not possible right now, but 3CX site does not open a new window. How can i have in my chat, same behavior that chat that run in 3CX site (without new window)?

Hi @jrperondi,

Live Chat was changed previously to pop out as having it embedded was causing issues with users disconnecting while browsing the site while on a chat. I believe the popout=true/false is not respected anymore. Having it popout ensures that the user continues to receive chat messages while users browse your website.

Thanks for your reply! I understand, but there is other ways to continue active chat (reconnecting websocket) even if the user navigate to another pages, of course except if the user get out the site or go to pages that dont have script embeed. Or, you can let administrator choose behavior.

Other chat plugins like jivo and talkto works this way.
