Chats - Client on iPhone?

Is there a reason that in settings for the iphone 3cx app that "Play Chat notifications" does not have a "Silent" option? The ringtone option does.
this seems like a large over site? Maybe I missing something.

we are using chat queues to bring in sms texts - since there is not a text to email option we have that chats going to a queue via an IVR and people claim them.
sitting here at my desk my webclient gets the chat - but so does my iphone. or when we are gone of course the chat hit my iphone and plays a sound. This is all fine and well if it could be set to silent?

if we are in a meeting every ones cell phone goes play the chat noise - very annoying to not be able to silent that- because I want calls to ring through.
