Hello,

In Startup Free or SMB, and from an IP deskphone, how can I listen to another extension's voicemails, given I know the extension number and voicemail PIN for that extension?

Thank you!

I don’t have my notes in front of me but I’m pretty sure that’s not allowed on that platform.

I am afraid that is not possible in the Free or SMB version of 3CX. You will need a standalone version of 3CX to be able to do so.

@zambini I'm on the SMB version. I needed to be able to access any voice mailbox for our users, as well. However, I needed to do so from an external phone, not a deskphone. I assume this might work for you, too - just implement it as a speed dial on the deskphone.

1. Set up a Digital Receptionist
2. Dial into your company phone number
3. When the receptionist answers, the user dials 99999
4. The user is then prompted to enter an extension and PIN number

You can also set up the speed dial as follows:
+1[companyphonenumber],,99999,,[extension],,[PIN]#

I haven't tested this from a deskphone, but it does work for us from an external phone. Hopefully that helps!
