China Mobile SIP Trunk

We have installed the 3CX server on-prem in China. The issue is that we cannot register the China Mobile SIP Trunk, and there is no information on the forum; all the old posts and URL links don't work. We have the following error message from the logs

Date 06/19/2025 6:58 AM
Details Registration at ChinaMobile has failed. Destination (sip:221.131.194.148:5060;lr) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available

It looks like this IP and FQDN are not reachable from anywhere, not just from the server where the PBX is installed, and we also passed all the firewall checks. Is there any new FQDN for China Mobile that anyone knows?

Hi, in theory your SIP trunk provider needs to give you, critical information that is correct, such as

account name for SIP trunk
account pass for SIP trunk
SIP trunk Server FQDN that works

without that info, you are pretty much dead in the water / need to have a better SIP trunk provider.
have you reviewed docs available at SIP trunk provider / the admin interface for SIP trunk (if you have such?) or otherwise do you have a way to reach out to SipTrunkSupplier (ie, 1888phone call support, or email, or other support channels?)

Hey Belja,

Please confirm with your carrier it's a SIP trunk that you can connect with Internet.
