Chrome / how to make 3cx default for tel:// links

Hi all,

Two things:
1) Now that macOS has an app back and not a chrome extension, can you please add a subform for macOS
2) Does anyone know how to force Chrome to use 3CX app instead of having a popup window asking us if we want to use 3CX ?

When we see the number of mac requests increase, I'm sure we'll create a subforum. However for now as there haven't been many cases, it's not currently needed.

This is a well documented Chrome issue that they're aware of and has been reported on their forums various times. Until they change it, I'm afraid it's how Chrome decides that it will work.

Update: There is a registry key value you can edit to stop the popup happening: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/1-click-dial/

that's for Windows.
I checked the sysctl in macOS, but they are all related to the OS.

Right you are @saint__, apologies that I missed that when coming back. I'm afraid then that as I mentioned previously, it's up to Google as we've not got a fix for the macOS machines.
