Hello Everyone
I took over a customer and have setup 3cx Hosted Solution for them ,they have two CISCO SPA504G phone sets that they were using with previous provider and would like to use them with 3cx.So so far i have Factory Reset the phone successfully but can't seem to find a proper way to upgrade the firmware from 7.5.2b to 7.6.1 which is recomended by 3cx.
So far i tried the following way but no luck.

Is the issue, that you cannot get the firmware from Cisco, or that there is an error, of some sort, when you attempt the upgrade?

If the upgrade fails, what sort of message do you get?

Hello leejor
So when i tried to upgrade the message comes that phone will get upgraded and reboot ....but after a little while the phone just reboots and comes back with same old firmware

This phone is only supported with 3CX on a local install or vpn connected install. No stun or sbc are officially supported.
you can make manual configuration on it to do both.

I have taken ones that were provisioned locally and then when I migrated the customer to the cloud I manually edited a few settings on the phone. They worked OK manually configured over 3CX SBC but not 100%.

To manually configure the phone from scratch you are looking at a lot of work.

How many phones do they have? My customer ended up eventually moving to 100% Yealink after 6 months of using the Cisco phones. They were 70% Yealink at the point we moved them to cloud and I warned them that the Cisco phones won't work great so it wasn't a big surprise to them.

If they have a significant number of phones I would move them to a cloud host with vpn, or move the 3cx in-house.

As these are indeed old eol devices I do recommend at least considering switching to a more recent device we support. Especially since you will not be able to keep the current devices in a 3CX Supported state due to having a remote 3CX PBX with no site-to-site VPN available.

Here is a list of all 3CX Supported IP Phones: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Note: Do make sure to also go through the device's guide to check for any limitations or requirements you should know a bout.
