Client (mobile or desktop) adding H264?

Just wondering if there is any plan to use H264 in the clients? We just purchased a Fanvil door phone, based on 3CX trumpeting it was compatible. It was a bit of a kick in the teeth to find that not all of it was compatible. I know users can use the web client to see the video, but that is no good for the users that are mobile on site and use the 3CX mobile app extensively or the users that we have managed to get to use the client.
