codec for HD audio between clients

Is there a codec that will allow me to record phone calls between 2 3cx clients in HD audio quality? I have tried with all the codecs and still the bandwidth is narrow.

The codecs G.722, G.729, GSM, G.711a, G.711u are ITU standard and the Phone system uses that codecs on RTP ports between caller and callee for audio communication, basically the codecs encode/decode the digital stream over a data network. Turning to your question, the Phone System saves that recording files in IMA ADPCM, mono 8000 Hz format which have not relationship between communication codecs that you tried. This means that any codec if you chooses, the record file would be in a IMA ADPCM, mono 8000 Hz.
