Company Phonebook

How do you edit the company phonebook... In researching I saw an old Forum that it was in Settings, but there is no option in Settings for company phonebook, I'm the administrator, and my entitlements has a checkmark to edit company phone book...

Ok. That is not what I’m looking for. I guess I’m looking more for the Company Phonebook with all extentions. I just got a Yealink T48, and in phonebook under remote phonebook is the list of extention. There are names that are appearing that don’t have extensions and also a bunch of none. So I wanted to see how to delete these names that don’t exist and the none that are also listed

I would check your contacts, as the yealink address book only contains the mobile number (it ignores any other telephone fields) - you may have contacts with blank mobile numbers.


Do you see the same with the 3CX client or 3CX webclient

There is only 1 contact I have and that isn’t even appearing in this phone or any other phones that I have. All that is appearing is all the names and extensions and others that aren’t in my contacts or extensions including a bunch of none. None of those that are listing have cell phone numbers and are appearing with their extension numbers.

The phone book that 3cx creates comprises of 2 parts
1) The Extension list with Name and Extension Number.
2) The Contact list with Name and Mobile Number.

(-> My guess is this is what you are seeing perhaps - contacts that the number is not entered under Mobile.)

Is your phone provisioned with the default template?

I went into the webgui and in directory there is the URL for the remote phonebook to the 3CX server. But in addition to the names and extensions, there is a bunch of ‘None’ listings with no phone numbers and other listings that are not listed in my extensions. And I only have 1 entry listed in contacts and that is not even appearing.
