If you have the same number in your personal and company phone book the company phone book seems to take precedence. For example we may have the entry as a company name in the Company list but in someone's Personal list it may be the name of a specific person at that company who they deal with.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to change the system so that when two numbers appear it displays the name from the personal phone book rather than the company one?

I noticed that too but I never had an issue with that. What is the goal about it ?

Would that not be a function of the particular set?

Thanks for the replies. We have a trial 3CX system at the moment and are testing a few things. We intend to populate our 3CX Company contact list with a CSV export from our CRM system which generally links the phone number to a business name. However a lot of our smaller clients don't have multiple DDI's and will only have one outgoing number for the business. We have members of our staff who may only deal with one individual at that business and their Outlook contacts (from where we will populate the Personal contact list) will link that phone number to the individuals name.

As you can see it's not a huge issue by any means. However please let me know if there is a way to change the precedence so that 3CX displays the contact name from the Personal address book rather than the Company one when receiving a call.
