Conference Question

Hey Team,

I have a need to setup a conference for a certain group of people. What I need to have done is to assign a conference for this group then when any one of the people assigned to this group calls the conference then Elastix will call all the other memebrs of the assigned conference and then connect them to the conference. So to clarify:

I set up conference #8100. I give 5 people (with internal extensions numbers) the conference number and the pin to enter. If person # 3 dials into the conference Elastix will then call the remaining four and connect them into the conference. This need to be done extension-to-extension without the need to use a DID trunk-inbound route.

I can't seem to wrap my head around on how to do this and making it work. Any suggestions????

Hey give me a PM where you at I am also Texas would enjoy creating a US or better Texas Group if there are enough of us to help share our experiences and be able to reach out to each other is a group private message.

I don't know how to guide you in this question, but you may want to review how they do it in the agenda concept, I think I remember reading you can have a set conference call all participants to add them to conference. Sounds close to what you want to do and might give you some ideas. Or it maybe that is the way these guys can start the conference by starting one with a notify to everyone else through the GUI kind of close to what you want.

I haven't try this but it might be what you are looking for. You might have to edit the script to make it autocall the other parties.
