In order to place outbound calls you need to configure at least one SIP Trunk / VoIP Provider. VoIP / SIP Trunk providers “host” phone lines replacing the traditional telco lines. VoIP Providers can assign local numbers in one or more cities or countries and route these to your phone system.

This guide covers info on how to get a supported SIP trunk provider, how to add the VoIP provider account in 3CX, how to configure SMS and how to create Outbound rules to route calls over the trunk.

Read the Guide.

Is there any documentation on configuring Outbound Parameters on SIP Trunks?

Yes there is: https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk-outbound-calls/
Please note that outbound parameters are used to construct an Invite message according to the providers requirements. Changing settings without consulting your provider might break outbound calls completely.

hi guys
where the bridge gone in V20 ?

@Woodward67 Also check the blog post here with the latest update information.

I am trying to add ZEN (a supported trunk provider) into the system but they are not listed
How can I add this provider - there does not seem to be an option

I assume you are referring to Zen Business, the UK provider. If that is the case they are listed under UK unless you are using 3CX SMB in which case the provider will not be available.

Will the options for incoming calls (e.g. From: Display name to From: User part) come back in a future update?

Hello! For our sip provider we need the option "From: User Part". We couldn't find it in v20. Tell me what to do?

Hi,

We are trying to setup our SIP provider and they sent us the attached info, (red redacted for security reasons). Is there more information we need from them?

Is this a supported provider? If so then that is enough. If not then if the generic template does not work with your provider you might extra info.
For now the information you have is enough to register your provider.
