Integrate your Salesforce CRM system with 3CX in order to:
  • Create a new contact automatically when a call is made or received from/to an unknown number
  • Have the customer record brought up to you automatically when you receive an inbound call
  • Launch calls straight from Salesforce via 3CX, using the 3CX Click2Call Browser extensions
This guide takes you through the steps required to set up your Salesforce CRM with 3CX.

Read the guide.

I have followed instructions and tested the configuration to work perfectly. My problem is that I cannot see the results either in 3Cx or Salesforce. Please advise on what to be done after the test. I might have missed some step

You need to be using the Web Client or Desktop App to see the contact details taken from Salesforce when you make or receive a call. After the call ends, 3CX will log the call as an activity for your Salesforce contact.

Thanks. This means i should discourage my team from using mobile app to make calls

The CRM integrations don't work with the mobile clients, only with the Web Client or Desktop App.

Good morning Katerina K_3CX .

Is the web page you indicated with information about Sales Force offline?

Best Regards.
Osti Carvalho.

Hi,

Is this still the case that it will not show the salesforce contact name or make a call journaling logs in Salesforce when the users answer the call on the mobile app?

It was never as you said lol

When using server-side integration, it will still do the lookup and call journaling, whether you use the app, the mobile app, a deskphone or anything. The mobile app, however, requires to be up-to-date for the CRM name to show up when answering.
