Constant change between IP and FQDN

Hi,
via our internal VPN the connection between client and 3cx server is much better than via FQDN.

Now I noticed in the traffic analysis that the desktop app is constantly switching between internal IP and FQDN. Can I change this via the app? Is the FQDN important? I could simply block the FQDN in the firewall.
