Hi everyone,

I am pretty new to Asterix/Elastix (but ran Freeswitch for a while prior). I have to say, I am very impressed with Asterix (and the performance/quality).

I am seeing continuous messages in the logs (5555551483 has replaced the real number to avoid possible calls). These are reporting about every minute, and I cannot see why. This number can still place calls and make calls.

Dec 30 08:14:01 DEBUG [4408] pbx_spool.c:

Delaying retry since we're currently running '/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/0700.ext.5555551483.call'

The only thing I can think of is the Wake Up service (*62). I did set a wake up call, for testing, but the call never arrives (and it was only done on this same number).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Don

This message usually is seen when dial timeout is infinite or greater than retry time and a retry is sent when first call is dialing. Check /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/ directory for 0700.ext.5555551483.call or any other left of .call file and delete them and restart the pbx. Also try setting retry time to more than dial timeout.

Thanks for the quick response.

1)
Where do I find these timeout settings?

2)
I guess that leads me to the next question/issue...
The wake-up call was never actually placed.
Nothing is in the logs to indicate an issue, other than these continuous messages.

I found them... they were in the "wakeup.php" file.
The default settings were 60 sec ring, 60 sec retry.
I changed to 40 sec ring, and retained the 60 sec retry.

The wakeup feature now works.

Thanks!
