I wanted to create a custom hours for customer service group. If someone can tell me what is the best way of doing it.
Currently I have my global hour is set to
7:00 - 18:00
I setup a Digital Receptionist to take that call
When user press 0 or 2 for customer service I send them to a 804 csr dummy extenstion
inside that dummy extension this is what I got.
please see attached.
under the auto Switch this is where I configure the break time to be 12:00-13:00. But during that time when someone called it still ring to them. Any ideas why this is not working? it still seeing it as avaiable and sending it to 801 customer service group.

I don't know if there is a better way of doing this. Please advise. any help be great!!

During break time your extension will go to the away status so make sure the routing for your away status is where you want it to go.

@kieferschild is right, break times does set the extension to away if you've got autoswitching enabled, but, since I see you already configured the Away status correctly, I must say I'm not 100% sure what's happening. IS autoswitching for this extension working correctly? Since you mention that you still see the extension as available, maybe it's not.

Make sure that the PBX is not locked into a specific Office hour mode. From any extension, dial *64 to set the default office hours mode. You should hear an actual audio message saying that the PBX is using the default office hours. If you don't it might mean that you have a different dial code for it. Go into Settings >> DialCodes and check what it is:

Alternatively, Id recommend using exceptions to get the behavior you're looking for instead of relying on the extension's profile status. It will be a much cleaner configuration and will also be much more easy to manage.
