Custom template - change programmable key when handset lifted?

Hi, client is using Yealink T27G desk phone / PBX 15.5.3849.1 on Linux VPS. Request has come in to add a "pickup" option to one of the desk phone's programmable keys when the handset is lifted. I've managed to create a custom template and add this when the handset is down but cannot see how to add when the handset is lifted. Is this possible and if so can anyone point me in the right direction?

If I read your post - you want one of the BLF keys to have one function with the handset down, and another function with it raised ?

This is not possible, I believe

Hi, not the BLF keys but the programmable keys along the bottom of the LCD.
