Hi i have a customer that's got a phone in the reception area on the wall i want it to be able to dial a number (ring group) when the phone is picked up, i know i might after change it in the template and give that extension a customer one but im not sure on what to add in the template to make it dial a number as soon as the hand set is lifted

So you want to configure a hot line, please note that is not included in the default template and you will need to use a custom one.
