Dial by Name Directory Recordings

There doen't appear to be an option to review if a user had recorded their names for the Dial by Name directory. Is there a way from the terminal to find this information out?

This question has come up a number of times bin the past. Not sure if it will be addressed in the final V20 version.

There is no easy way to know, but it does create a .wav file when you save your "Self ID". You could look at each extension and see if the file exists. Since this is in the Small Business forum, that probably would not take long.

We have a tool that will go through each extension and if a "Self ID" message was not recorded, we will create one for you. We use Amazon Poly for text to speech, and use the First / Last names saved with the extension in 3CX for generating the message. See 3CX Auto Self ID
