I have a digital receptionist configured so that if '1' is pressed, then the call is forwarded to another digital receptionist.

My expectation would be that the 2nd digital receptionist voice message plays. However, what actually happens is the default "please wait whilst I transfer your call" message and then the hold music plays which is then never-ending.

Either I have things configured wrong ( so what do I need to change ? ) or this is a bug.

I installed 3CX in December - I see that there is a new version out - how can I upgrade my installation without wiping all of my configurations and .wav files ?

Thanks vm for any help out there.

Hi,

This has been fixed in the new beta.

You should be able to upgrade over the old version and settings will be retained. However its best to make a backup using the backup function before performing the upgrade.

manual pfd >
Digital Receptionist > Timeout: "Specify the time out in seconds. If the system does not receive an input, it will perform
the configured action."

Where is it "configured action", i can't find.
3CX system hung up when timeout.
